SIGNS OR SYMBOLS TO TRACK LEARNING Display the transdisciplinary theme image with the guiding question or central idea and lines of inquiry posted underneath this image. Under these you can display the connected subjects and guiding questions or links. As the unit continues students can reflect and list specific skills, knowledges and understandings that are developed in each of the subjects and then create visual links to show how these skills, etc. from one subject and support the learning in another subject. Thus you are making the transdisciplinary connections visible to the students and any visitors to the room.
