Being a communicator – Fast Four

Being a communicator – Fast Four

FAST FOUR – “Being a communicator” (Year 1-2)

‘Fast Four’ is a quick-thinking task that enables you and your child(ren)to generate ideas and discuss them with others. Your child(ren) can develop ideas using conversation, drawing or written text or drama. Sometimes ideas generated in Fast Four sessions can lead to student-initiated learning or projects.

“Being a communicator” focuses on

  • Communication as a two-way process
  • Different ways of sharing and receiving ideas
  • Individual needs and skills that influence how and what is communicated
  • Codes used in the communication process
